Come learn the game of kings, and train your brain to think a few moves ahead.  Designed for all ability levels, the Chess Club is led by a coach who can teach new chess players the basics, and help experienced players sharpen their skills.

"I can read to my class now!" said a participant in our Paws to Read program.  
 
Children ages 5 and up are warmly invited to register for a 15-minute session to read to Rodney, our visiting certified therapy dog. Therapy dogs provide a safe, nurturing experience for emergent readers to practice their literacy skills. Rodney is a great listener!

The Wood-Ridge Memorial Library lends free admission passes to many NJ and NYC museums.

Passes may be borrowed by any Wood-Ridge resident, age 18 and over, with a Wood-Ridge Memorial Library card in good standing.

*American Museum of Natural History
While supplies last, each adult Wood-Ridge Memorial Library card holder, with a card in good standing, may receive two free admission vouchers per year.  Vouchers expire 12/31/19 and do not need to be returned to the Library.
