        (We will leave school at 2:30 pm)

Lettering
If you plan to receive a choir letter this year (you must have auditioned for District Choir), Letter Point Tally Sheets are due no later than Friday, 2/1. Bring any programs for concerts you have attended thus far. You will have a chance to add others in the spring. Don't worry about fund raising or submitting voice/piano lessons right now. We will take care of that later, as well. If you are not planning to letter this year, but want to carry points forward to next year, you may turn in your form at the end of the year.

Spring Trip Registration & Final Payment
Every student (and chaperone) going to San Diego MUST have this form filled by January 16. It is the paperwork to purchase airline tickets, and we need to make sure legal names are spelled correctly.  The  January 16 deadline is a FIRM deadline because the company is purchasing our tickets in a group and will do it next week.

4. Complete the form and submit. You will receive an emailed receipt when you are done.
 
This paperwork is MANDATORY by Wednesday, Jan. 16 because they will be purchasing the tickets  and we must have legal names for every individual traveling by then. It will take less than 5 minutes to complete, so please do it today.
 
Our FINAL payment for the choir spring trip is due on Wednesday, January 16 . The 3rd and final payment for students will be $500 (making the total trip cost $1300). The payment link is available on My School Bucks and also needs to be paid by January 16. Chaperone final payments will also be due on January 16th ($700 for a shared room, $1075 for a single room). 

Feaste Chamber & Madrigals Costumes
Renassiance Feaste Chamber & Madrigal costumes are due back dry-cleaned by February 1. Discounts are offered at Great Falls Cleaners, 9900 Georgetown Pike in Great Falls. 

VCU Vocal Arts Project 2019 
For one exciting week (July 8-12, 2019), students in rising 7th -12th grades from across VA engage in singing, dancing, composing, acting, drumming, and growing as a well rounded musician. Click here for the website for information, applications, and forms.

James C. Macdonald Performing Arts Scholarship Competition.
This year's deadline for application is Friday, January 25.   The scholarship honors excellence in high school performers of dance, theater, instrumental music and vocal music. Following a preliminary round and final round of competition, prizes (1st - $1,200; 2nd - $800, and 3rd - $400) are awarded in each of the four categories.
Who can apply: High school students who reside in the McLean Community Center tax district (Small District One A-Dranesville) are eligible to apply.
  • Students may enter in more than one category, but must submit an application form for each.
  • A nonrefundable, $20 fee is required for each application form submitted.
Application Deadline: Friday, Jan. 25
Preliminary Round: Week of February 4
Final Competition: Wednesday, March 27, 8 p.m.
