Lake Louise, by Mary Hawn
Mary attended the most recent oblate events and has been another excellent addition. In one of the discussions she mentioned how being in the outdoors draws her closer to God.
We also discovered she is an artist.
She said this painting is a prayer of praise for the beauty of His creation.

Dom Bernardo Olivera Letters

For about the past three years the oblate class has read several of the letters by Dom Bernardo Olivera who is the abbot general of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance (also known as “Trappists”). We have enjoyed the letters as they are assigned periodically by Abbot Isaac. But what if you want to read all of the letters now? Bernardo Olivera letters.
