BUSINESS SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT

Sandy and Gary Louderback are longtime residents of the Great Valley community, volunteering their time, energy and money for many years for the betterment of the community. Sandy, through countless hours of volunteer work, has raised thousands of dollars for our GVCO Caring Hands Foundation, helping the students raise money for those in need in our community.  Louderback Logistics, through Gary's leadership, has been a tremendous supporter of GVCO for several years, donating the company's transportation and warehousing resources.

Louderback Logistics has been around for decades, based in Spring City, PA. This Atlas moving and storage company has been serving the southeastern PA area for years. Whether you need storage solutions, household movers, commercial movers, or logistics services, Louderback Logistics is the Philadelphia area moving company for you. Louderback Logistics will move you locally in Pennsylvania, across the country, or even overseas.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Please join us for the 4th annual Jonathan Moules Steps4hope 5k run/walk. This event is an opportunity to create awareness of the disease of addiction, an epidemic that has swept our country and taken too many of our loved ones lives much too soon. Over the past 4 years we have donated over $60,000 to help create awareness, break stigma, educate our communities and provide needed financial resources. Visit our website at  Steps4Hope   for more information.

Promote Your Business and Support GVCO

GVCO is in the process of enhancing our sponsorship program to provide greater community visibility for local businesses.  This is a great way to both promote your business and support GVCO's efforts to bring a community center to Great Valley.  Please contact:
[email protected] for additional information.

GVCO is happy to partner with the Chester County Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club to bring their monthly meetings to GVCO's own GVBL Center. The Chester County Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to enhance the independence, dignity, and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.

In pursuit of this mission, The Seeing Eye:
  • Breeds and raises puppies to become Seeing Eye dogs;
  • Trains Seeing Eye dogs to guide blind people;
  • Instructs blind people in the proper use, handling, and care of the dogs;
  • Conducts and supports research on canine health and development

We are happy to host them!

GVCO CONTINUES TO EXPAND PROGRAMMING.

As GVCO continues to work diligently at bringing a brand new community center to our Great Valley community, we are working equally as hard to expand our program offerings to better serve the community. Last spring we introduced an arts program for middle school students which we will expand upon this fall. In October we will also begin a dance class for seniors involving movement and expression, as we have partnered with Ballet 180, a dance company in Paoli. And as of this week Pickleball will be offered daily during the week at the GVBL Center on Bacton Hill Rd.

Our mission as we transition into the new GVCO Community Center in the coming year is to continue to offer the excellent programming we have done for many years, but continue to find ways to broaden GVCO's appeal to the entire community. With the addition of much greater facilities, we will continue to develop multigenerational and diversified programming to meet the needs of the entire community. For details on all of this and much more, go to www.gvco.org.
