Farmers Market Vendors Sought
Although it's still winter, Downtown Partners is already looking forward for the 2019 season of the Jefferson St. Farmers Market! The market will take place in the 300-500 blocks of Jefferson on Thursdays from 4:30 to 7 PM beginning May 2.

The Jefferson St. Farmers Market steering committee is offering a discount to returning seasonal vendors who sign up in advance, as well as for new seasonal vendors - only $105 a space for the entire 21-week season. If you are interested in being part of the region's most successful farmers market, download the application and guidelines at GreaterBurlington.com, or call Downtown Partners at 319-208-0056.

The Latest News...
  • To say we are excited about being an overnight stop for RAGBRAI on July 26 would be an understatement! This is just one of a number of great events on this year's schedule. We will be working with business and building owners to make sure downtown looks its best for our thousands of guests.
  • The recently completed area-wide plan for downtown contains a great deal of information about current conditions, opportunities for the future, and possible public improvements for three catalyst sites that could spur on additional private investment. Think of it as a "what if" document. You can access the information BurlingtonBrownfields.com.
  • Currently we have two Main Street Challenge Grant projects in the works. Interior rehab is moving along in the diner space at the historic depot, and construction will begin soon on The Collective, the shared use commercial kitchen and retail space going in at 805 Jefferson. We're looking forward to seeing these great additions to downtown.
