Our one day food and drink trail, Tidy Day, summer events and networking ... welcome to this week's edition of our Luton BID news.
Calling food and drink businesses - your last chance

Are you signed up for our one day food and drink trail yet? The flavour-filled day is set to take place throughout Luton town centre on Saturday, 6th August.

Local restaurants, cafes and bars will be offering special deals, free tasters and money off vouchers and Luton BID will be promoting the trail extensively, including a two page feature in the Luton on Sunday.

On the same day we will hold an afternoon of live entertainment, with theatre, interactive entertainment and roaming street characters set to bring colour and fun to Luton town centre.

Report all crime to the police

Please ensure you report all crime - whether your business is targeted or you witness criminal behaviour.

Only if crimes are correctly reported can the police get a full understanding of the provision needed to keep an area safe and reduce crime.  If you see anything suspicious or witness a crime please contact Bedfordshire Police on 101 or 999 in the case of emergencies.

BID networking event

Register your interest for our networking event Luton BID Linked, set to take place on Thursday, 29th September from 8.30am to 10am.

The event, for all town centre businesses, will take place at Youthscape and the guest speaker will be Colin Spiller who specialises in face to face networking and sales and has mentored senior sales people around the world. Email info@lutonbid.org to reserve your place.
Summer holiday events

Check out our events flyer to ensure you don't miss out on any of our summer events. Coming up is  Luton's Guide to the Galaxy, on Saturday, 23rd July at the Galaxy.

From Tuesday, 2nd August there are a host of Crafty Creations Workshops at the Central Library and o n Saturday, 13th August we are holding another Luton Live afternoon of entertainment in St George's Square.
