Brunson ends successful term as chair
Abby Brunson, Global Career Facilitator with the Chester County School District, ended her term as board chair and "passed the gavel" to Albertha Woodard, Director of Labs, for Chester Regional Hospital. Mrs. Brunson thanked her board members who served at least two years and now roll off--past chair Chris Winters, Earl Moore, Everett Stubbs, and Chet Tucker. Ms. Woodard welcomed her new 2019 board members Lisa Burrell, Buddy Grant, Wylie Frederick, Lisa Hall, and Linda Montgomery. They join board members Clay Barbour, Abby Brunson, Matt McCrorey, and Stacy Scott.
2019 Goals: Stay Local
The Chester County Chamber of Commerce rolled out its plans for a new "Stay Local My Friends" campaign--the goal of which is to encourage all businesses and individual consumers to be Chester County loyal and stay local when they make purchases or need services.

As part of our “Stay Local” campaign, we plan to do a video series—a game of tag if you will—where one business tags another by endorsing them as a great place to “stay local.” We hope this series will send us all over the county and into many types of businesses and industries. The only rules are the participating businesses must be Chamber members and you can only tag one friend (it’s hard to pick just one).

Just a few photos....with dozens more on our FACEBOOK page!
A special thank you to our ambassadors and to our Office & Membership Manager Ashley Helms for registering and checking-in our many guests! Thanks also to the wonderful Gateway staff and Exclusively Your Design catering for making sure things went smoothly for everyone.
