EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Spark in the Dark Thank You - Spark in the Dark was a huge success because of you! Thank you to our wonderful community at RRC. You guys stepped up in bringing in bags of candy, helping with set-up and tear down, and inviting friends and families to join in on this fun event. The pie eating contestants are growing in numbers and in confidence! A few returned to re-claim their victory from previous years. All around it seemed to bring joy to a lot of faces. We could not do these events without the support from all of you. Thank you! ~Beth Jennings
A quick note from your Consistory - Your elder and deacon are here for you, and would be happy to get together and pray with you, whatever the reason. Whether you are having a baby or an upcoming surgery, have questions or simply want to talk, give them a call. If you aren’t sure who your elder and deacon are, contact the front office. It is also listed in the back of your church directory.

Packaged Cookies Needed for Wednesday Dinners! - There is an ongoing need (through next March) for desserts for Wednesday night Family Dinners. Packaged cookies work out well and last a while. If you would like to bring in a freshly-made dessert, please contact Terri Katsma (616-292-8230).
Sunday, October 28, 12:15pm in the gym. All proceeds of the dinner go towards middle school mission trips. Menu: ham, twice baked potatoes, corn, green beans, salad, rolls, apple crisp.
Sunday, December 9, 4pm. Join us on Sunday, April 29 at 4pm in the Sanctuary for a Hymn Sing! This event is for anyone who loves to sing praises to God!

A Life Group is a small group of 8-12 people that focuses on three priorities – sharing, study, and support. Life Group members will commit to meet together at least every other week through the school season—and even better, through the summer. We call these “Life Groups” because they are focused on (1) helping us grow in our life in Christ and (2) sharing life together. If you are interested in joining a life group or starting one up, please contact our Life Group Coordinator, Pam Jacobs.
