Pasadena Police Lt. Sean Dawkins recently met with the WPRA board to discuss the traffic issues related to Rose Bowl events. He said, "We are concerned with the traffic affecting the neighborhoods surrounding the Rose Bowl [particularly at the recent Ed Sheeran concert] and we are working very hard so they do not have a similar experience for the back to back BeyoncĂ© concerts in a couple of weeks." He recommended that residents use the following communication channels during events if they encounter issues: Lt. Mark Goodman, the Traffic Section supervisor, will be providing updates regarding traffic operations during major events. You can follow him on Twitter  @LtMarkGoodman . Also follow  @PasadenaPD  and  @RoseBowlStadium . All three Twitter contacts will be updating their accounts with valuable information for residents and attendees alike. Local Pasadena residents will also find Nixle beneficial because the police department does use the tool often to get information to the residents. You can register for a Nixle account at  www.nixle.com.
