In April, Crayons is hosting our annual Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader fundraiser, where guests compete against actual 5th graders in our own version of the game show. We are always hunting for challenging, yet 5th grade appropriate questions. Please provide one or more questions via the poll below.

King Studios Traveling Suitcases |
The King Studios Traveling Suitcases are educational toolkits
that use replica artifacts, technology and lesson plans to tell the story of King Studios through art, music, entrepreneurship, civil rights and science. The unique cases pay tribute to the traveling musicians who, with suitcase in hand, cultivated King's musical and historical legacy throughout the world. The Suitcases are designed for educational use in K-12 classrooms, each containing artifacts and educational materials aligned to Ohio Content Standards.

Crayons has more than 100 rolls of industrial felt stored at the Great Oaks warehouse in Sharonville, and they need to find a good home. They come in a variety of weights and textures and are mostly neutral in color (black, gray and tan). If you, a church group or any organization you know could use any of these large rolls, please contact Kendall Glover at [email protected] or call 513-482-3290 to arrange a pick-up.

Art Entries Needed by February 28 |
The fifth edition of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader is rapidly approaching. If you have talented students (particularly middle and high school age) who would be willing to donate any 2D, hang-able artwork, we are in need of donated art for our silent auction.
The auction will feature up to 40 donated works of art from local students, and all money raised will go to support Crayons to Computers.
Please submit a photo of the art, and any questions, to Stefanie Clayton at [email protected] no later than February 28, 2019.

In case of inclement weather, Crayons to Computers will make a decision by noon if the Teacher Free Store will close. The decision is independent of any school district.
If closed, Crayons to Computers will be listed in the general school and business closings on local news channels WLWT, WCPO and WKRC. Closings will also be pos
ted via social media and on the Crayons to Computers
