Research Paper Preparations
Secondary classes met Friday afternoon to begin the annual research paper season. Students will spend the next several weeks researching and writing papers on historical topics.
On Monday and Tuesday, Lake Pointe teachers and staff worked to prepare for the new semester with workshops and conversations about accreditation, class room management, and the research paper process. Celebrating the fall semester, faculty enjoyed lunch and fellowship at a local restaurant.
Sweet Atoms
4th grade science students used skittles to build models of atoms using the various colors to represents the neutrons, protons, and electrons.
From diamond miner to ballerina, kindergarten students dreamed of what they would like to be when they grew up. Reflecting on what they liked about themselves now, they practice using a mirror to create a self portrait.
