Metropolitan Title Recognized as January Member of the Month
Metropolitan Title owner, Margaret Sklenar owns 14 branches in Northern Indiana, including the Bluffton branch, which opened 5 years ago. The Bluffton Metropolitan Title team consists of four hard-working individuals: Emily Mongiello, Bluffton Branch Manager; Lannette Bickel, Marketing Executive; Katie Brindle, Escrow Assistant; and Toby Rife, Abstractor.
Metropolitan Title is a title company that prides itself in delivering great customer service and developing strong business relationships. Being involved in the communities they serve is important to Sklenar and her team.
“The individuals in the community are the consumers we serve, and our goal is to deliver exceptional service for their wants and needs, tailor our services for the customer, and truly understand their title and escrow needs,” explains Sklenar.

The Wells County Foundation, Inc. awarded grants totaling $64,571 in third grant cycle of 2018. Recipient agencies included the following: Alive and Well, Inc.; Community Action of Northeast Indiana (Brightpoint); Creative Arts Council of Wells County; Family Centered Services; Junior Achievement of Norther Indian; Ossian Park and Recreation Department; Poneto Volunteer Fire Department; Wells County 4-H Association; Wells County Master Gardeners; Wells County Food & Clothing Bureau. The Foundation considers grant proposals three times annually for agencies seeking funding through the competitive grant process. Funding for these grants comes from the unrestricted funds which are administered by the Foundation. Donors with broad philanthropic interests find that contributing to an established unrestricted fund is an excellent way to provide resources for grantmaking and help make a positive difference for the ever-changing needs in Wells County.
