Personalize it - paint on the covers, put your name inside. Some sketchbooks are neat and tidy, some are random and jammed with 

whatever fits. Most are works of art themselves.

Revisiting your sketchbook is a good idea. Some days when I am thinking about my next series, I will go through my sketchbooks. "Wow! That was 

a good idea!"  I'm off and running.
