Dear friends,

It seems to me that words always fail to capture the goodness and power of an attentive, engaged, inclusive, compassionate community like ours.

A community that never looks away from the struggle of our neighbors, or the often daunting, complex and systemic issues that keep them in that struggle.

A community that stays tuned and steps up to every challenge determined to dismantle those barriers and ensure that everyone entrusted to our care has a chance to become all they can be.

A community that comes together and stays together when it matters most to do what matters most to ensure everyone has that chance.

The Sleep Out has become one of those all-in amazing, stellar, miraculous ways we come together to power up our resolve to care for one another. The Sleep Out 2018 campaign total of $2,472,000  speaks for itself. Whew!

Our hearts soar with thanks to all of you miracle workers. You are beyond the best! Bless you!

Happy New Year.

YOUR SUPPORT PREVENTS HOMELESSNESS

This new year marks a brand new day for our neighbors. This was the biggest Sleep Out goal ever set at $2.4 million, 43% of Interfaith Outreach's annual budget. And, because of you, the massive goal was met on Dec. 31! When we told you that 429 families, 1 of every 5 families we worked with last year, were experiencing the crisis of homelessness, you gave with all your heart to prevent it. Thank you for staying with us and giving generously. Together, we create homes and hope for 2,000 local families all year long.  View photos on Facebook >

PLAN YOUR MARCH FOOD & FUND DRIVE

Start planning a food and fund drive with your faith community, neighborhood, co-workers, book club or civic group to fight - and prevent - hunger in our community! The Prevent Hunger campaign helps families with food, employment and family support. Help us reach our goal of $200,000 and 100,000 pounds of food by March 31. Gifts will be DOUBLED by The Mosaic Company up to $20,000.

There are many fun and meaningful ways to get involved! Download our toolkit!   More >

The Prevent Hunger campaign is a part of the larger MN FoodShare March Campaign, which supports over 300 Minnesota food shelves each year.
