Adult Book Groups
The library offers a variety of monthly book groups for adults.  FREE coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is provide by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library for all groups meeting at the library. Copies of all books are available to check out at the Circulation Desk with your library card. Titles and meeting dates are subject to change. Visit the  website  for additional details.

Do you enjoy books? How about a night out? Join us for our new Books on the Town Book Group . Our next meeting will be Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Ally's Bistro in Menomonee Falls. We will be reading The Last Town On Earth by Thomas Mullen. Registration is required for this group.
Winter & Spring Storytime
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME
Tuesdays @ 9:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
Join us for stories, movement and music geared for 3-5 year-olds followed by a craft or activity.

Join us for stories, movement and music geared for babies to 2 year-olds follow by playtime.

Winter & Spring Monthly Programs for Kids
Our Creative Play Date theme this month is Pout-Pout Fish. Puppets and props of characters from the children's book by Deborah Diesen will be available!!

Online Resource Feature
This month's featured resource is  Libby - a fresh and easy way to borrow and read ebooks and audiobooks from Overdrive. Libby is a free app - all you need to access 1000s of titles is your library card!

Did you know that there are tons of ebooks and audiobooks available for children? Check out the Kid's Page on Overdrive or limit audience type to Juvenile when searching. There are tons of great lists such as:

Mark Your Calendar: 2019 Friends Book Sale in March
The Friends of the Germantown Community Library host their annual Used Book Sale in March. We generally have over 10,000 gently used books in dozens of categories for sale. Audio-visual materials as well as unique donations from the community such as comic books, stamps, and records are also available.

Last year, the Book Sale raised a record amount of $8,400 !! 100% of the money goes to support programs, technology, and other items not covered in the annual budget at the Germantown Community Library.
