What is CollegeTracks?
CollegeTracks is a non-profit organization that helps students understand their college and career options. We take the student through the critical milestones of the college application process and provide hands-on help with financial aid and scholarship applications.

The first step is to complete your CollegeTracks interview. The interview is a way for us to get to know you and start making a plan for life after high school. The interview is not formal--no need to dress up or prepare!

ACT PREP FOR JUNIORS!
Are you taking the ACT? If you are unsure if you should take the ACT or SAT, stop by CollegeTracks!
Preparing for the ACT can help improve your test-taking strategies. A strong ACT score can lead to more college options and scholarships!
CollegeTracks Juniors can receive FREE ACT Test Prep for the
June 8th ACT! Prep is offered during lunch and after school, in small groups,
led by knowledgeable tutors!

Eligibility: Open to all high school students in grades 9-12; Create 30 second commercial for middle school students persuading them against underage drinking.
Name: Davidson Fellows Scholarship
Due Date: February 13, 2019
Amount:
$10,000-$50,000
Eligibility: Grades 9-12;
Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, or a Permanent
Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or
be stationed overseas due to active U. S. military duty.
Submit significant
work in the STEM field or humanities.
Name: 29th Annual Poster Contest for High School Students

Eligibility: Entrants must be high school students. Students must work individually to create posters of original content. Posters are judged by a panel based on overall impact, expression of the year's theme, artistic merit and originality.

COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT FOR FEBRUARY
|
- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is a land-grant, historically black college founded in 1886 as the Delaware Conference Academy.
- UMES offers major programs leading to B.A. and B.S. degrees in the arts and sciences, professional studies, and agricultural sciences. The most popular undergraduate major is business/marketing (17%).
- The college has a unique Aviation Sciences Program where students can receive a B.S. in Aviation Science, with a concentration in professional pilot training.
- There are approximately 3,000 undergraduate students enrolled; Students come from 30 states and 55 other countries. 53% of students live in off-campus housing.
- Ocean City is an hour away from the campus.

Ms. Meghan Lynch
Ms. Lynch is the Program Director and is in charge of making sure all CollegeTracks students get the guidance they need throughout the college process. Ms Lynch worked at CollegeTracks-Wheaton High School for 7 years and is excited to now be at QO! She attended Catholic University in DC for her undergraduate degree and received a Master of Education in School Counseling from University of Maryland-College Park.
In her free time, Ms Lynch is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. She enjoys running, traveling, trying new restaurants, and taking trips to the Jersey Shore in the summer!
Ms. Paula Kalksma
Ms. Paula is the Program Coordinator and is your go-to person for ACT prep and workshops! She has a passion for helping and motivating others. Ms. Paula loves working with the CollegeTracks students and looks forward to each day's new opportunities and adventures. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Delaware. Ms. Paula enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, traveling, and taking photos of her dog.
