On Feb 20, Mayor Durkan announced a new climate program during her State of the City speech
Hello Friends and Partners...
While there are no shortage of dire climate change stories in the news these days, one bright spot that I often see is how cities are at the forefront of driving meaningful progress on climate action. From From the U.S. based Climate Mayors organization to the C40 Women4Climate initiative that amplifies the leadership of women mayors from all over the world, more and more mayors are tackling the challenge of climate change head on. Seattle has been an early partner with both organizations and it is inspiring to see more and more cities joining in. As always, thank you for being a great partner in this work.
