Taste of Chicago is Taking Reservations for this Summer's Festival!
Is your favorite Chicago food establishment represented at the world's largest free-admission food festival? If not, now is the time to encourage them to apply to participate in this year's Taste of Chicago. The summertime tradition, Taste of Chicago is now inviting members of Chicago's culinary scene to apply as 5-day participants, 1 or 2-day pop-up participants or as food trucks at the 2019 festival in Grant Park this July 10-14. All Chicago-based restaurants, shared kitchens and food trucks that offer traditional, unique and ethnically diverse menu items are encouraged to apply online now at
TasteofChicago.us. The deadline is February 20.

Application are open for the 2019 CityArts Program Grants for Nonprofit Organizations
This year's CityArts program will include opportunities to apply for general operating grants across all artistic disciplines, as well as project grants in alignment with the City of Chicago's Year of Chicago Theatre. Project grants will support initiatives that have the potential to impact the Chicago theatre sector at large. All applicants are encouraged to attend an application assistance workshop. Stories Come Alive With Lifeline Theatre

Stories come alive at the library when actors from Rogers Park's own neighborhood theatre company, Lifeline Theatre, read stories and play drama games with children of all ages. This month Lifeline is previewing Time Warp Trio based on the series by Jon Scieszka. Come BE the story! The Time Warp Trio series of books includes:
