FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Supervisor Ally Miller Applauds Proposal To Fund Road Repairs From General Fund
Supervisor Ally Miller applauds a proposal by the County Administrator to use of General Fund monies for some arterial and collector road repairs.

On Thursday, January 31, 2019 Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry announced that he would be asking the Board of Supervisors to consider approving the limited use of General Fund monies for repairs to arterial and collector roads with widespread usage.

"I want to offer my support for Administrator Huckelberry's proposal to use General Fund monies to repair arterial and collector roads with widespread usage. This common-sense solution to a problem that we know has hindered progress is prudent. It should easily win the unanimous support of the supervisors."

"I looking forward to working with the Administrator and my colleagues on the board on developing a plan to repair our local roads as well. Together, I have confidence, that working in good faith, we can arrive at prudent, long-term, and equitable solutions."
