Church School begins Sept. 9
We invite our parish family to join us on September 9 at the 10am service to help our children and youth launch a new church school year. You will be able to see a Godly Play lesson in church, hear a favorite song from Vacation Bible School, and support the commissioning of our teachers as well as the blessing of our kids.

Parents, please find the registration form here.  Print it, complete it, and bring it with you on Sept. 9, or drop it off in the Children & Youth Education Council mailbox in the parish hall.  Copies of the form are also available in the Commons. This year church school will begin at 9:45am and conclude at 10:45am for the following reasons:

  • It gives the teachers a full hour for gathering, prayer, the lesson, discussion, and closing prayer without being rushed.

  •  It gives parents a chance to settle their kids in and have a calm entrance into church, maybe some time to chat with each other before the service begins.

  • The emphasis is not on cramming the lesson in, but rather the peace of God in a thoughtful, calm environment.

Grace is blessed to have a great teaching staff this year and we are all looking forward to giving our kids...

"the anchor of faith, the rudder of hope, the sails of education, and the paddles of family to keep them going when life's sea gets rough."

Turn in your Oleson's receipts to benefit the Grace Food Pantry!

Oleson's Community Share Program

Here's how it works:
  1. You shop at Oleson's for groceries (liquor sales do not qualify for points)
  2. Turn in your receipts to the church.  Look for the envelope on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall, and place your receipts inside it.
  3. We submit receipts back to Oleson's
  4. We are granted cash rewards for the food pantry ($1 spent on groceries = 1 cent in Community Share points)

For every $5000 in receipts we submit, we receive $50 in cash for our food pantry.  Every little bit helps!

Thank you for participating!
