                              Success in Education

 In partnership with Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education (CLASE) at the University of Georgia, six Barrow County School teachers visited the University of GA campus in Costa Rica this August to be trained in Instructional Conversation pedagogy.

During the week-long training, our six BCSS teachers were joined by five Habersham teachers, along with teachers from Costa Rica in the Ministry of Education and Peace Corps volunteers. Georgia teachers were able to visit two Technical High Schools and connect with Costa Rican teachers in their Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) content areas for future collaboration.
