2018 has been an incredible year for Valley Children's. It's amazing what a difference a year can make. Because of gifts from donors like you, we were able to invest in new technology, recruit more exceptional pediatric specialists and respond to needs within our network swiftly. Taco Bell Raises $236,258
We are so thankful for the more than 100 Taco Bell locations who raised funds for Valley Children's during their annual fall fundraising campaign. This year's campaign raised a record-breaking $236,258 to support the Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program. We are so grateful to Taco Bell employees and customers for making this incredible total possible. 
Tree Lighting Ceremony
On December 5, Santa and his elves were at Valley Children's Hospital to celebrate the official lighting of the tree in the rotunda. Santa brought gifts for our patients and posed for photos to help the holiday season get off to a great start at Valley Children's. A special thank you to El Mexicano Foods, The Interact Club of Central West High School, Lounge Essence Furniture Rentals and Macy's for helping make the event so special for our patients. 

Touchdown Challenge Update
A special thank you to the generous members of this year's Derek Carr Touchdown Challenge. So far, Derek has scored 19 touchdowns. As a part of the Derek Carr Touchdown Challenge, participants donate $100 for every touchdown Derek scores during the season. We are so grateful to Derek and DC4KIDS for their support of the children we serve. To learn more, visit our website . 


Central California Alliance for Health Awards Grant
Thank you to Central California Alliance for Health for their recent grant of more than $90,000 to support families living in Merced County who struggle with food insecurity. Our employees at Olivewood Pediatrics in Merced will screen patients and families to identify risk and options. Families in need will be provided with a  voucher to receive a 30-pound box of nutritious and healthy food options from the Merced County Food Bank. Thank you to Central California Alliance for Health for their support. 
Dutch Bros. Donates $10,000
Thank you to Dutch Bros. Fresno for their most recent generous recent donation of $10,000. This gift came from the opening of their new location at Palm and Herndon. That day, all 16-ounce drinks were $2 and all proceeds benefited Valley Children's. We are so grateful for our ongoing partnership with Dutch Bros. Fresno and for their incredible support of the children we serve. 


Kids Day Sponsorships Available
The 32nd annual Kids Day is on March 5, 2019. This longtime Valley tradition is fast approaching, and we would love to have you join us!

There are many ways to get involved: sell papers on Kids Day, participate as a team in our business or school challenge or become a sponsor. Sponsors are featured on many marketing pieces, letting readers know that they care about the health and healing of local children.
