WHAT'S NEW
AT PALS THIS
MONTH?
SEPTEMBER 2018
As the leaves start to turn and summer fades into the background, we here at PALS Animal Life Savers continue to work hard to keep as many cats in happy homes as we can. In our newsletter this month you'll learn more about our Dining For Felines event , which will occur later this month, and as always we have both a Featured Available Cat and a Happy Ending Story for your enjoyment. If volunteering for us seems like your cup of tea, please consider reading that section below. As you'll see in our Past Events section, we're always happy to have extra helping hands. Best wishes for a happy Fall!
UPCOMING EVENTS

HAPPY ENDINGS
At PALS we pride ourselves on finding happy homes for our lovable rescues. This month's Happy Ending Story belongs to Franklin .

Franklin was adopted by Katie and James in November of 2016 when he was just 3 years old. At first he was shy and did not want to be picked up and would often hide under the bed or coffee table when Katie and James would come home.

Two years later, Franklin loves to sit in the window and wait for his loving owners to come home, will meow until he gets a "proper greeting" and then enjoys cuddling on the couch with them. He also loves watching bird videos on YouTube, playing "catch" with his toys and stuffed animals and cuddling with his favorite chinchilla toy.

His favorite days are when his owners get a package so he can lay in the box, and on a breezy, sunny day he loves jumping from window to window, watching the birds and dogs go by.

Franklin has adjusted to his home very well and is loved by his family, Katie and James.

Congrats to all--another Happy Ending!

AVAILABLE CATS
Are you in the market for a new feline addition to your family? Then look no further than PALS Animal Life Savers for a loving companion that is sure to warm your heart.

Spencer (pictured right) is a handsome medium hair gray male with a white pendant on his chest. We don't have a confirmed date of birth, but we believe he is between 3 and 5 years old.

Spencer is a spunky, playful and affectionate boy that will do best as an only feline in a home with an experienced cat owner.

PAST EVENTS
On August 30th, PALS Animal Life Savers participated in our second annual Day of Service with Salem State University.

The volunteers, who are students at Salem State, were with us from 10am to 3pm, working in teams to clean the Adoption Center and Isolation Room from top to bottom. They also spent time socializing our cats after they completed their tasks.

It was an awesome day and all of us at PALS are so grateful for the help from the Salem State students. Thank you to all who participated and contributed to making this day a success!
