Run Club

Only 4 weeks until the Fun Run! Get ready for the Fun Run, build your running muscles and earn fun charms. All WG Roadrunners are invited to join Run Club on the blacktop at 7:30 Friday mornings. It's a fun, non-competitive and super-healthy way to close out the week and start your weekend off right. All participants are encouraged to stretch for 5 minutes, then run laps around the "blue line" for 20 minutes.... that's it! We record everyone's daily and cumulative distance. Some of our top runners have gone over 300 "career" miles! We'll see you out there.

Yearbook Purchases

Did you purchase your yearbook yet?? If not, please keep reading for important ordering information...

We have a new yearbook ordering process this year!!!

All yearbook orders must be done online directly through our yearbook vendor!

Books will be available to purchase through April, and they will still be sent to Walnut Grove and delivered to students in the classroom during the last week of school. We will not have any extra yearbooks to sell at the school at the end of the year, so buy yours now!

Halloween Trunk or Treat

Save the Date!!

We will be hosting our first Trunk or Treat on the evening of Friday, October 26th. All roadrunners are invited to attend!

What is a trunk or treat? A trunk or treat is similar to trick or treating only instead of going to someone's door, you go to the decorated "trunk" of a vehicle. It's an opportunity to have some fun and also be creative! We are looking for volunteers to participate and provide your decorated vehicle for this fun event. More details will follow as we get closer, but in the meantime, if you would like more information or you are interested in participating, please contact [email protected]

Mixed Bag Designs Fundraiser

There is still one more week to Support the 4th Grade Coloma Trip!

The 4th graders are doing a Mixed Bags fundraiser to raise necessary funds for their trip to Coloma. You can help by purchasing eco-friendly tote bags, wrapping paper, kitchenware & more!

The fundraiser runs through September 7th. You can purchase items through a Walnut Grove 4th grader, or online using the link below.

PUSD Community Meetings

Join District Leadership and Board Trustees at the first of four meetings to learn more about PUSD's mission and goals for supporting students, take part in informal Q&A and connect.

The Pleasanton Unified School District invites all community members to attend one of a series of upcoming community meetings to learn more about the District, and to meet and engage with PUSD Cabinet members and School Board Trustees. The first of four meetings planned throughout the year will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 6:00-7:00pm in the Fairlands Elementary Multipurpose room.

The District will kick off the meeting by sharing information related to its organizational goals for the year, engage in some informal Q & A, and take time to connect personally with attendees.

Community members are encouraged to save the date for the three future meetings which will be held on November 27, 2018; February 5, 2019; and April 30, 2019. All meetings will be held from 6 - 7 p.m.
