Student Appreciation Week

Across campus there will be many activities and events all week to show just how much King's appreciates its students.

Indigenous Knowledge Keeper

Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, Liz Akiwenzie, will be on campus in the Student Life Centre every third Tuesday and Wednesday. Liz can answer any questions about the traditions and history of indigenous culture. Bring your tea or coffee for an informal sharing of knowledge.

Eaton Room Tour

Have you ever wondered what's behind that mysterious locked door in the library? Now is your chance to find out! From November 19 - 23, the library will host open houses of the Eaton Room so you can see our rare books and artifacts. There is no need to sign up, just drop by at the times listed. See you soon!

Veritas Series: Annual Christ the
King Lecture

Who is My Brother, and Sister and Mother?
The church community is not immune from the polarizing influence of politically populist, nationalist, and nativist language. Rooted in the primacy of human dignity, this talk will explore the Gospel imperative for inclusion of those marginalized because of sexual identity, immigration policies, political unrest, marital status, and religious affiliation. Is Pope Francis opening new paths for Catholic Christians and others?

Ten Thousand Villages is a global store that sells fair trade products. Items will include chocolate, coffee, scarves, jewelry, journals, plus lots more. Dog Sees God: Confessions of Teenage Blockhead Is presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Services.

King's @ Night

Join King's International and King's Residence for a fun-filled night of cookie making and a paint night!

Cookie making starts at 8:30 p.m. in the Thames Market. 
Paint Night will be held in the Vitali Student Lounge Extension, starting at 9:30 p.m.

King's Helping Hands: Dodgeball

King's Helping Hands is hosting a dodgeball tournament. $5 per player with teams of 6-8 people.  Money raised will go towards building care packages which will be handed out to the homeless.

The King's community will come together for the Feast of Christ the King in celebration of the achievements of our students.

Lets talk! This open forum gives all King's community members an opportunity to chat with your Vice-Principals, ask questions, suggest or comment on campus issues.

Giving Tuesday

Mark your calendar and plan to join us in the King Student Life Centre on November 27 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. as we say thanks to our donors and volunteers. Write a thank you note, take an #UNselfie, share your #igivetokings activity story, and enjoy a free coffee and cake pop.

In support of the United Way of Elgin-Middlesex, students, faculty and staff may purchase KINGO cards in various locations around campus. Card sales are on now and every weekday at noon, numbers will be drawn. When you fill your card, you win!

Cards are cash only :
