Come into the quiet.
Come in from the fray.
Come into the warmth of our church to share in our Longest Night Service.

Through Song, Reflection on the Kabbalah Creation Myth and what has been termed the "God Particle," we will rest in the darkness and consider what light may lie within it.
This Sunday

8:00 - Prayer Group has wrapped up for the year.  Stay tuned for Bible Study which will resume at 8:00 in Stacy's study on January 6th, 2019. .
9:00 -  Choir Rehearsal
10:00 - Christmas Sunday Worship
On Sunday we will light the Candle of Love as we take in the miracle that love was made manifest in the person of Jesus on Christmas.  We will share in that love by welcoming one among us into membership.  The choir will sing a beautiful anthem entitled "Lo, How a Rose/The Rose" arranged by Craig Hella Johnson featuring a solo by Kayla Gautereaux.   Finally we will share in a special collection to support A Lift Up, which is a program of City Mission.

Special Christmas Offering this Sunday and Christmas Eve.     Guided by City Mission's principles of engagementeducation, and empowerment, City Mission's strategic focus is preventing family homelessness and all their work is designed to serve the most vulnerable people in Boston.  A Lift Up is an intensive, voluntary two-year homelessness prevention program for low-income single mothers and their families who are at risk of losing their housing.  To learn more about the good work of City Mission please visit their website

Children's Corner in Memorial Chapel
Please note that throughout Advent we have a new table set up in the Memorial Chapel (the lovely space with the candles and Nativity stained glass window behind the piano) with quiet books and crafts for our younger ones, or any kiddos who could use a bit of space and movement during worship. This space is for you and yours - we hope you'll find it a blessing.
