Grand Knight’s Report
Worthy Brother Knights:

The last weekend of August ended with our council helping two ministries and conducting a recruitment drive. Thank you to all the Knights that cooked on the grill for The SJN Religious Group, cooked in Reynolds Hall kitchen for the Life Teen Group and help Mark Dallas with recruitment after the 1 PM Spanish Mass. Alex Naumis's was acknowleged by Father Abel who allowed Alex to speak from the podium after the 1 PM Mass. Alex informed the congregation what the Knights do to support the SJN community and invited men to join us to make a difference; Thank you all who were able to participate.

A Huge Thank you goes out to Leon Urban who is moving to the Monroe area. Leon is always saying, " Call me if you need help! " Leon - You are AWESOME and we will truly miss you. You still can come and join us anytime you are able.

We invite all of you to come to the next Business Meeting to see the progress on the Neumann Center; Houston is moving forward in a very organized and precise manner - We are very fortunate for his leadership. Mike MacFarlane also is doing an exemplary job overseeing this project.
Many of you helped with preparation to paint the new meeting area, paint, clean up afterwards and added your personal touch to moving this project forward. The new floor will be installed in the new meeting area this week and we will move everything over before the Business Meeting. Then we will start on the old meeting area and install that new flooring and begin the kitchen modification. Frank has already got the new dish washer and stove! Thank you Frank and Leon for finding the deal and delivering.

September has begun with our monthly Family Breakfast benefiting the Life Teen ministry and we were able to raise $1001.02 - YES that is a record revenue for a ministry via the Family Breakfast!!! Thank you Chairman Hugh Gardiner and Knights. The Life Teen Group was a big help and we appreciate their support. Oh... and We were concerned that it was a holiday weekend.

Next up is Marasco's Lasagna Dinner which is on a Thursday night. We hope you can support the dinner with your patronage, help or donation.
The proceeds will help fund the Neumann Center remodel.

May God continue to bless you and your families.

Vivat Jesus,
Mark Davis
