Dear St. Francis of Assisi Parents and Guardians,
Governor Newsom held a press conference today with updates for the reopening of California schools in the Fall. At this time, St. Francis of Assisi School is working with the Diocesan Office of Schools to understand the impact of this statement. There is some ambiguity as to whether or not these guidelines will apply to our Catholic schools. We are reviewing the information internally and will collaborate with our lead pastor, Fr. Fred, our Parent Advisory Board, and our Task Force Committees (notes from the first week of meetings) to determine how this impacts our plans for the Fall. As we stated previously, our plan for reopening allows us to continue to educate your children in all phases of opening. We are committed to our mission to serve our families and will continue to work hard, keeping health and safety ever in our focus. We will continue to provide you with additional information as soon as possible.
