No One Finds A Career Alone

We have all benefited from the advice, guidance, connections, or coaching from our peers along our career journey. No one finds a career alone.

Towards Employment is the support and help for over 2,500 people in our community each year. TE provides the right support, at the right time, to help an individual navigate his or her career pathway.

As Towards Employment reflects on 2018, we are grateful for our supporters who make it possible for our organization to help change the lives of so many in our community.

Towards Employment hosted the Cleveland Browns at Bloom Bakery this month.  Christian Kirksey, Earl Watford, Seth DeValve and Brian Price made cookies with our bakers during their visit.  The Cleveland Browns gave a generous donation and featured TE as Day 6 in their 10 days of giving to support TE's work of connecting people to careers.

The KeyBank Foundation announced $1M over three years in support of TE through the Key to Careers grant. The grant will be the foundation for TE to serve 1700 people with comprehensive workforce programming.  Read more about the Key Bank's investment here

TE is honored to be recognized as the 2018 Isaiah Award for Human Relations by AJC Cleveland. The award is presented to organizations working to building bridges and better the human condition in Cleveland.

Jill Rizika  and Craig Dorn of Y.O.U.  were featured on WCPN's Sound of Ideas to discuss the cost and loss of productivity caused by young adults disconnected from the workforce system
