WE BEGIN OUR SEASON WITH A $400,000 GIFT
FROM AN ANONYMOUS FRIEND

a three-year pledge to support The Crossing's recordings of new music

Everybody enjoys having a secret admirer. We have one, and they are particularly generous. So generous, in fact, they have committed to support the recording of our commissions over the next three years, with a gift totaling $405,000!

We can't tell you who it is, but we can share with you our joy and celebration for this visionary and strategic thinking that will enable us to take our Philadelphia-born art and share it with a wider world. We are grateful.

Indeed, we are grateful for ALL of our friends, supporters, and secret admirers and we invite you to join our anonymous friend (with any amount, named or unnamed!) to get our 2018-19 season off to a healthy and fruitful start.
Our Anonymous donor has been our Recording Angel in the past.  Here's just one instance, our 14th recording with works by Greg Brown and Stratis Minakakis, that this friend of The Crossing has made possible. Click to listen!

Thank you to all our friends for allowing us to dream.

See you at FringeArts on September 16 to get things started with our performance at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival

Below, a scene from our appearance last year at the Fringe Festival -- performing as singing trilobites in A Period of Animate Existence with our friends at Pig Iron Theatre.
