Latest News at Oak Grove
We had the best Cinco De Mayo on-grounds! The day started with our Environmental Team completing the Rock Climbing Wall in the gym. Then all three dorms competed in a nachos contest. The contest encouraged teamwork and friendly competition. See who won the nachos contest and more from Cinco De Mayo
Our brand new Rock Climbing Wall was generously sponsored by Sonya Linden, Oak Grove Board of Directors Member and her husband, Richard Linden
The three dorms competed in CHOPPED, Oak Grove style. Pineapple was the secret ingredient they had to use. Two of the dorms had it in their amazing chili, Dorm A also had it in the cornbread, while Dorm C served it on the side. All three dorm tastings were so delicious making it extra hard for the judges to decide.

Award Recognition is as follows:
Dorm A won: Most Creative, Outstanding Taste, Grand Entrance
Dorm B won: Best Taste, Full Course Meal, FIRST PLACE!
Dorm C won: Best Overall Presentation, Authenticity, Entertainment (they even made their own website, see here )

Oak Grove is proud to announce Lexie as Student of the Year awarded by the Murrieta Student of the Year Committee and Chamber of Commerce . Thank you Sally Myers and all the generous sponsors. This distinction means so much and will help greatly!  💚
Although Journey's End Golf Course is open at Pechanga, we are waiting on an update from the Governor before confirming the date and venue. Stay tuned for updates on Golf Classic and Chef Open.
In STEAM class our students continue to explore and learn about various concepts in Science  through project based learning. They have demonstrated evaluation, analysis, application, critical thinking and knowledge within each project. Our students enjoy and truly yearn to keep learning through science and engineering.
Our recent project included tye-dying to learn about the chemical reactions between the dye molecules and fabric molecules. The dye bonds with the fabric and becomes part of the fabric. Students enjoyed customizing their own items to include bandanas, canvas bags and T-shirts! See more
Our students and staff did a great job participating in our first week of Virtual Spirit Days.  💚

Spirit Week gave the students and staff a chance to rock some crazy hair, mismatched outfits, crazy socks and more.

We appreciate everyone for showing off all their school spirit! See more from the week

Over the weeks, our running group has grown while their running shoes are getting worn down. Thank you to the Running Center of Temecula for supporting our runners by sending a donation of shoes.
Thank you Nancy Comer and The Running Center in Temecula team for thinking of our youth. Your donation of new running shoes will go to great use. We appreciate you!
