Toronto Tennis City Unveils New Professional Team
TORONTO, Ontario 05/09/2018
Toronto Tennis City has hired 5 new tennis professionals, promoted their Tennis Director, and has restructured its coaching team with new leadership positions.
Craig Mercer,  who has been the Tennis Director for ACE Tennis and Toronto Tennis City for the past 5 years, will oversee the entire tennis operations of the club, which includes the adult and junior programming, fitness, leagues, camps, tournaments, special events, school programming, marketing, and business development opportunities.
Mercer says:  "These exciting changes to our structure and high quality hires will enable Toronto Tennis City to improve the calibre and variety of services on offer for our members, and will allow our ACE Tennis Academy to reach new levels of performance."

As Tennis Director and Assistant General Manager, Mercer will manage and lead a team of professionals who will take on the following leadership roles:

Andy Sutton  (NEW) will be responsible for the ACE Tennis system, content and design.
Sam Jonas  (NEW) will lead the ACE Tennis Academy and head the Provincial, National and International Team Programmes.
Adam Dykes  (NEW) will head the Futures and Champions Teams and School Programmes.
Mario Albu ( NEW) is the new Tournament Director, who will coach in both adult and junior programmes.
Rathindra Kakati  (NEW) is Head Pro, Adult programming,  and will assist in junior programming.
Natalie Araya  is the Assistant Head Pro, Adult Programming and will assist in junior programming.
John Cairns and  Isabella Baston will coach our entry level competitive and recreational programmes as well as adults.
Michael Zimmerman, General Manager says: "We wanted to offer our adult membership greater options on how they can access the club and its programmes. The changes will be noticeable".
