Berkshire Grown member chefs are committed to creating their menus with food grown on Berkshire farms. Sample their creations and eat fresh, eat local!

Autumn temperatures bring a fresh chill in the morning air and a bountiful harvest to the farmers markets.

You can spend the whole day enjoying delicious food, doing your grocery shopping, visiting with friends, discovering delicacies, and building community.

The 2018 federal Farm bill is up for renewal on September 30, but many people don't know how this complex piece of legislation will impact everyday life here in our region. 

Did you know that SNAP benefits make up 80% of the farm bill? Or that over 300 hoop houses (season-extending, temporary greenhouses) across Massachusetts exist thanks to the farm bill?

4th Annual Berkshire Fermentation Festival

The Fermentation Festival will be here before we know it. 

Sunday, September 16, 10am-4pm at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds.

Featuring an array of local food vendors sampling and selling their products as well as demos, lectures, a culture swap, science corner, book signings, raffle, live music, and more.
