Hello MedQ65 Brokers and Agents,
 

I wanted to share some tips and reminders going into open enrollment season. My goal is to make you happy! I work when you work -------   early, late, and weekends, if needed. If your clients can't reach you for any reason, they may call me directly.

Appointment/Licensure Reminder

Please send a copy of your current AHIP or Gorman Certificate to [email protected] by October 1. 

Applications
  • We take first-of-the-month-effective applications for qualified members on a case-by-case basis throughout the month, all year long. 
  • Feel free to call for any questions about the possibility of acceptance. 
  • Turnaround times 
    • We make every effort to process apps the same day or within 24 hours  -------   even with underwriting. 
    • Please call if submitting an app that requires underwriting, to ensure timely processing. 
    • If concerned about an app being auto declined, please let us know, to prevent a declination on the customer's record.
Preventive Dental Benefits

All plans except the regular Plan F include preventive dental benefits at no cost to the member. Available benefits per year: 

  • 2 exams 
  • 2 cleanings 
  • 2 bitewing x-ray series 
  • 2 fluoride treatments 
Members should let their dentist know that QualChoice pays dental claims in accordance with Delta Dental's fee schedule, which can be provided.
Plan Changes
  • Current members may change plans without medical underwriting once every 12 months at any time during the calendar year -------   not just during open enrollment. 
  • Make sure your client is aware of deductibles, copays, etc. and complete a Plan Change Request Form
  • Submit paperwork as soon as possible for clients changing plans with a 1/1/19 effective date. 
  • You may request paper forms be sent to you. Complete and fax to our secure dedicated fax line: 501.707.6765. 
  • If you give us the member's information, we can even fill out the form and you can get it signed!
Short-Term Coverage

If you have clients with a gap in coverage before their MediQ65 plan starts -------   we can help! Our QuicChoice short-term plans are an affordable option. A member can be covered for up to two 6-month terms per lifetime. Contact [email protected]
