Vine Bistro Nov. 13. We are back at the Vine Bistro on Nov. 13 to enjoy socializing with our friends and dancing to the music of Larry Tanelli and Claudette. It is a non-intimidating environment for new dancers and we welcome newcomers and non-dancers too. RSVPs are requested so restaurant management can plan for us.

DECEMBER FIRST THURSDAY HOLIDAY BASH -December 12, 2019. This will be our Holiday Bash at St John's Hall. (Yes, this is the second Thursday) We are so excited that Larry Tanelli and Claudette will be entertaining for us at our favorite venue. Jason Raimey, our instructor from Wilmington will be teaching Waltz and we'll be practicing how to do a Waltz mixer.

Our casual night of dancing at the Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge was a great success. Our next Moose Lodge Dance is Dec. 28. Buy your tickets now because this last one sold out early. Ticket sales limited to 70.

Robert Rodgers and his wife Amanda Kinseth will be teaching a swing lesson and later in the evening they will perform for us. Buy your tickets early; we are limiting sales to 150 and this will sell out.

Monday lessons at the Calabash Senior Resource Center

November lessons will be East Coast Swing. The intermediate class is held at 1 pm on Mondays. If you have danced some ballroom before and want to learn more, feel free to join this free class. If you are a beginner, you should come at 2 pm. for the beginner class. The center is located at 10050 Beach Drive in Calabash and the classes are free. Note - The Brunswick Senior Resource Center is closed on Monday, November 11 to celebrate Veterans Day so there will be no lessons that day.

OTHER COMMUNITY BALLROOM EVENTS

USA DANCE Grand Strand Chapter 6024 and Wilmington Azalea Coast Chapter both hold their monthly dances on the second Saturday of the month, next one November 9.

Nov 15, Jan 10, Feb 14, Mar 6 - Dinner Dances sponsored by the Calabash Elks. Charlene is a member. Let her know if you would like to come as her guest.

Dec 6 Knights of Columbus sponsored Teddy Bear fundraising dance at Our Lady Star of the Sea in N. Myrtle Beach with our DJ Steve. Tickets are now on sale for $25 per person.
