Supporting English Learners in Writing Workshop

This workshop will provide educators with the necessary tools to support English learners in Lucy Calkins Units of Study Writing Workshop. We will dig into each of the components of the workshop and learn how to engage English learners in a more meaningful way. Attendees will leave with resources and tools to help them in the classroom that will not only be a benefit to English learners, but to all students.

Who should attend?
K-5 educators working with English learners

Participants must bring: 
One Writing Unit of Study, Pathways, Guide to Writing Workshop

Session is offered at no cost for Title I Districts or Independent Charter schools, but registration is required. 
Others may attend for $60 per person.
