December Mission of the Month
Our December Mission of the Month will benefit children in Honduras.  First, we are grateful to the St. James Knitting group for making a large number of hand-knitted dolls to send to Honduras. These dolls will be taken by a delegation from the New England Synod, including Bishop James Hazelwood, later this month. Additionally, we are inviting members of St. James to contribute toward a Christmas program that will provide a special meal and gifts for children in Honduras.  The children and families who will benefit from this are some of the poorest people in our world.  Many of these families survive by gathering scrap material from a dump to sell so that they might have food to eat.  Each year, a group from our partner churches in Honduras provides a meal and gifts for these families.  You may place contributions in the bucket in the sanctuary or drop your contribution off at church at any time.  Please mark checks/envelopes "Honduras."  Thank you!
Dolls for Children in Honduras!
Many Thanks!

Thank you to the St. James knitting group for their gifts of handmade dolls for children in Honduras.  These dolls will be brought by our Bishop James Hazelwood when he visits our companion Synod in Honduras this month.  These dolls were handcrafted by our knitters, who work diligently year-round to create dolls, hats for newborn infants, and prayer shawls among many other beautiful things!

Thank you to our knitting group for your hard work!
God is Good!

My dear Brother Dumas,

I want to thank you for the good will to make many children smile this Christmas, do not imagine how beautiful it is to see these little ones smile in the midst of so much misery and contempt, in Honduras we are living very difficult times, the government does not do anything for jobs or safety or health or education, for that reason many families seek to emigrate and try to get out of these difficult living conditions that is why what we do in this time is so important, and we gladly work more for do it, God bless your Church, and the generous people who have placed this gift for us,

Father Midence
