Message from the CEO
Today marks a milestone in our journey to develop the profession of health informatics. Australia's first Health Information Workforce Census officially starts today 1 May. If you are someone who develops, maintains or governs systems for the management of health data, health information or health knowledge, we want to hear from you. Information gathered will be used in a range of initiatives including identifying workforce shortfalls and building the career pathways we need. Bringing the census to fruition has been a collaborative effort and you can read more about the parties involved and the story so far on the official census website. The digital health community needs you to step up and be counted! The census can be completed anytime until 31 May.
