Gene17's River Flow Newsletter

The recent Gene17Adventure Paddlers Weekend was another huge success. Speakers Barnaby Prees and Joe Rea-Dickins, plus videos from Neil Neil Peter and Eddy Mead all made for a great night. 6/8 December 2019 will be the next year's event, again at the River Dart Country Park.

Recently, our mission chief, Simon Westgarth has been in New Zealand, escaping the autumn for spring laps on the Kaituna and biking in the Redwoods of Rotorua. Jakub has just moved to St Anton for the skiing season and Rowan has been in Chile falling off waterfalls and running the Futa.

As we head into the holiday period, it is a time to reflect on a long year of fine times, with some very ace people. The great moments about coaching on the white water, is that you get to share wonderful experiences in special places, and 2018 has been another great year. So thank you for the good times, and we hope to see you again in 2019.

Remember Simon returns to Devon in the New Year, with a full course programme, and early booking for spring 2019 is already strong. If you wish to join us, over Christmas have a look at our totalling revamped website, with the themeX web engine ensuring our site works on all devices.

Spring fun on the Piode Waterfall in Italy

WE OUR TRIPS SO MUCH WE'VE CHANGED SOME TRIPS WITH ADDING NW SOLUTIONS.
On most the trips from mid May onwards, the is now a Coaching Only option. This option gives paddlers the flexibility of getting to the destination themselves with their own gear, plus enjoy their own off the water arrangements; Trips like  Piemonte Steep Creeking  & Piemonte Intro to Creeking  in Italy are good examples. In Slovenia all summer long, plus Norway too.

All our ROAD TRIPS in Corsica and Norway have a different Package Deal, with coaching, accommodation and local transport included. Through our experience this options allows for paddlers to take charge of there own catering, whether they wish to join their guide or experience something different.  Of course all these different service changes is reflected in the final trip price.
