When the developers come knocking, just say "no!" That is the sentiment shared with us by so many families we work with while preserving their land. The developer’s knocking was rejected and, instead, a decision was made by the Druesne Family to preserve their family farm in Colts Neck. The preservation was consummated on October 29, 2019 with partnership funding from the State Agriculture Development Committee, County of Monmouth, Township of Colts Neck, and Monmouth Conservation. Read more below about the property and what could have been, had the Druesnes said "yes" to the developer who came knocking at their door. They chose to protect the land and that is something I am very thankful for this Thanksgiving season.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

William D. Kastning, AICP
