PresidentPresident's Note
As Summer approaches and we say goodbye to Spring, I hope that we can reflect back on all of the cold and snowy days we endured not so long ago and smile. Sometimes reflection helps us to be thankful for our current situation and mindful to keep our eyes on the future and the possibilities that lay before us.

Last month we had our Spring Luncheon and Annual Business Meeting. What a wonderful afternoon! I would like to thank our now Past President, Linda Debner, for her leadership and dedication to MASWA. I feel fortunate to know that I will be able to draw upon her knowledge of the organization and her wisdom as I get comfortable with the role of President.

I also want to thank all of our members for the work that each of you do to help the growing population that depends on us, and the knowledge that we accumulate.
I look forward to working with the Board and Membership to continue the great tradition MASWA has of providing networking and educational opportunities for those who serve seniors here in Minnesota. I encourage you to share what you know with others and to help educate the general population with your wisdom.

I am humbled and excited to be the President of this awesome organization. Please help us grow MASWA by inviting others to join our meetings! I look forward to seeing many of you at our first Summer Social!
