Happy New Year
LA SBDC Team!
THANK YOU! Yes , I’m YELLING !

Thanks to everyone’s hard work, the LA SBDC Network has achieved another first: we beat ALL of our 2018 goals! That’s no small feat given these were our highest assigned goals to date.

Achieving assigned metrics is something most SBDC Networks struggle with - I’ve heard that as few as 16 of the 62 SBDC Networks consistently meet their goals. For this reason, the SBA has been pushing for more SBDC performance accountability.

There has been a longstanding narrative that California SBDCs underperform our counterparts around the country, but today we are shifting that. Thanks to each of you for making this possible, for helping us change the story of the Los Angeles SBDC Network and showing just what we can do.

Beating our goals means we’re doing more to help our small businesses. On that front we all have a lot to be proud of.

SBDC Day is March 20th, 2019
#SBDC Day is March 20, 2019 . SBDC Day is a national, collective proclamation of the success and impact SBDCs have in the small businesses community. Each network across the country is expected to share some tweets/FB posts provided by the ASBDC. Also, if you are planning any events for that day, please acknowledge SBDC Day in your promotions. We'll send around some more information as soon as it is made available in February. In the meantime, please reach out if you have any questions. kbrady@lbcc.edu
