Principal Notes

Dear Parents,

Thank you all so much for the hours of work put in to making Fall Fest so much fun.  I know it is a PTO fundraiser, but just as important it is a community builder. Our students love the Fall Fest and their enjoyment makes all of the work worth it.  A special thanks to the Fall Fest team and your leader, Kim Crowley. We could not have done it without each of you!

Next Wednesday we celebrate Halloween with class parties at 10 am and our parade at 11:15.  Parents are welcome to come enjoy the parade and younger siblings will have a chance to join us, if they wish. This is a huge day with lots of visitors and the parking lot fills up quickly so plan to pay $2 to park at PCC, or find street parking.

Do not park in any red zone.  The police will be called to ticket cars parked in red since these are emergency zones.  Should we have an emergency, cars parked in red zones will block the police and fire vehicles access to the school and church and lives could be affected.  Also, there are spots reserved for our priests and parish staff. Do not park in these spots.

We all want to have a good time and enjoy our children on Halloween.  I appreciate your support in helping to keep our children safe.

Here is a link to our Falcon's Fables website. On it you will find voting for our pumpkin decorating contest. Please vote!

Have a wonderful week!
Jennifer

PTO NEWS
THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING FALL FEST TEAM
We hope that everyone enjoyed Fall Fest!!!  Many thanks to our fantastic chair, Kim Crowley, for another successful event.  And thanks to her amazing team who worked for months to create a night filled with food, games, and fun for our St. Philip the Apostle community. From permitting, set-up, planning our amazing food booths, the Oasis, designing the event lay-out, seeking out the best games, activities and prizes, staffing volunteers, then spending all night on tear-down, so much goes into Fall Fest to make it happen.  The Monday newsletter could never be big enough to properly thank you, but we recognize and appreciate all of you! Of course, thanks to all our dedicated parent volunteers. Without you, our Fall Fest tradition would not be possible. This year, we were also blessed by the generosity of so many sponsors and donors. Your contributions and donations are greatly appreciated and truly contributed to the success of Fall Fest 2018!!!

With Gratitude,
Renee & Maria
