February 1, 2019 Rescheduled PJ DAY - Monday, February 4th will be PJ Day. Students can wear pjs, and bring stuffed animals and pillows. We will not be rescheduling the all school movie. Mid Year Conferences - These will be held on Thursday, February 7th in the evening. Please look for the conference confirmations on Monday. Catholic Schools Week - What an Interesting Week! Thanks to Doug Rykhus for taking the lead with the breakfast! Thanks to Brenda McHugh for taking the lead with the book fair! Thanks to Heather Gilberston for leading the choir and providing music for Mass! Thanks to all who made/brought muffins! Thanks to all who gave their time in service to others! Book Fair - You can shop online until 2/12! Shop Now FAST Assessments - Teachers will be sharing these with parents at Mid Year Conferences, and if you are not having a Mid Year Conference they will be in the Friday Folders on Friday, February 8th. Luck of the Irish - We have received a few sold tickets and auctions items. Just a reminder the ticket sales count toward your fundraising goal and the two auction items you donate aid in the success of the event! Please turn in the tickets as you sell them, and the auction items once you have them ready. We appreciate you not waiting until the week before the event. Need help selling tickets? John Ireland is preparing to celebrate February as heart month by participating in Jump Rope for Heart which is sponsored by the American Heart Association. Physical education classroom time will be spent learning about the heart and circulatory system; and gym time will be spent strengthening the heart. On Friday, February 22nd the students will spend 90 minutes celebrating, honoring, and remembering the special people in their lives who suffer(ed) from heart disease. Students will also be collecting donations for the American Heart Association. Watch for more information. Wait, wait, there is more. Up to eight (8) lucky parents will get to help with this fun and special event.  If this should be you, please call the office for more details.
