ALL SAINTS JOURNEY TO SELF DISCOVERY

Our Brand
Sometimes the word branding leads us to think of commercialism, and maybe not in a particularly good way. But our branding is more than a logo and marketing; it is, in short, how our church is perceived.

We want our brand to communicate our purpose, values, and mission. As we become more clear about who we are, our brand becomes more focused and stronger, and we shed the old need to be all things to all people. So in the end, yes, we want a brand identity. This will include articulating our purpose, values, and mission; even our All Saints logo can help bring our identity to mind.

It is in this vein the vestry continues to discover and express the components of our brand.

In our journey to discover who we are, the vestry identified our values—the principles and qualities of high worth and importance that make up our essential nature. These are things that run deep in our history: Faith, Love, Inclusion, Fellowship, Social Justice. As promised, we will highlight them individually.

Faith
First is Faith. After all, our Purpose is Putting Faith into Practice . Here is how the vestry described Faith as it relates to All Saints.
Definition : An assurance of things hoped for and a conviction of things unseen. It is a belief, trust, and loyalty to God.
Behaviors displaying Faith : Living boldly trusting in God’s grace. Performing acts of worship and service.
Examples of that behavior : We study the Word of God in adult forum, we discover new ways to worship such as Taizé, we embrace service to “the least of these.” It is not difficult to think of many more examples lived out by you, members of All Saints parish.
