This OSHA-authorized, voluntary 2-day training provides basic information on the common safety and health hazards in the construction industry. Successful completion of this 2-day training will earn participants a valid OSHA 10-hour card. The card will be sent following completion of the training to the mailing address on record.

Topics to be covered within the 2-day training include the following sections of OSHA 29 CFR sec 1926. A comprehensive reference manual will be provided to all course participants. There is a nominal charge of $38 per person to cover training materials. Credit cards are not accepted; payment by check only.

Who should attend:
The OSHA 10-hour training is primarily intended for front-line construction workers, but foremen and supervisors are invited to attend as well.

Mike Barton, a Safety Management Consultant with Chesapeake Employers' Insurance, has been an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for 18 years. He specializes in workplace safety for the construction and utilities industries.
