RFA-HD-19-015  Development of Novel Nonsteroidal Contraceptive Methods (R61/R33 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed) - NICHD is accepting applications to support and facilitate multidisciplinary research approaches for the development of novel nonsteroidal contraceptive products for women and men, which could potentially include MPTs with contraceptive and infection prevention properties. Letters of Intent due October 6, 2018.

  • The call for abstracts for SYNC 2019 opens today! Abstract categories include HIV preventive health, HCV health, sexual health, social determinants of health, and more. See the link for more details. 
  • The Scientists Advancing Affordable Medicines, Inc. (SAAMnow) is organizing its inaugural workshop: "Streamlining Generic Drug Development by Matching Reference Product Composition and Performance, In Vitro and In Vivo" to be held 18-19 October 2018. This workshop will discuss cutting-edge approaches to facilitate the development of solid oral, semi-solid, long-acting injectable, and oral inhalation products, that include MPTs.   • Save the Date! RHSC 2019 will be held at the Yak & Yeti Hotel on 25-28 March in Kathmandu, Nepal. The registration link will be available soon.
  • Share-Net Netherlands and Oxfam Novib Academy are organizing the 7th annual Student meeting "Linking Students, Policy and Practice" to be held on 30 October. Policymakers, practitioners, and researchers working on SRHR in international development and students who have finalized, or are in the last stages of finalizing their Master research on SRHR and HIV/AIDS will be convened for a dialogue about next steps and to discuss opportunities. RSVP by 20 October through this link.
