Iowa Innovation Group Applications Are Now Open

The Iowa Innovation Group is an ICUL initiative founded seven years ago in partnership with Filene Research Institute. The six-month program leads participants to define problems credit unions are facing and encourages the creation of innovative solutions.
Congratulations to Iowa's GAC Crashers!
Every year, The Cooperative Trust in partnership with CUNA hosts Crash the GAC. This event allows young credit union professionals the chance to attend CUNA's Government Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington D.C.

This year, the program's goal was to host a crasher from every state. Iowa will proudly be represented by two crashers - Kayla Kaufman of Community 1st Credit Union and Taylor Yezek of Collins Community Credit Union.

Kayla and Taylor will attend GAC breakout and keynote sessions; network with other young credit union professionals, credit union executives and thought leaders from across the country; connect with over 4,000 credit union activists, attend mentor sessions and attend Congressional visits on Capitol Hill.

Congratulations Kayla and Taylor!

Sioux Valley Community Credit Union Board Member Receives CCUV Designation from CUNA
Board members play a key role in the oversight and success of our credit unions. Please help us recognize and congratulate Sioux Valley Community Credit Union Board Chair Ann Hill on her CUNA Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV) designation.

There are a total of 364 CCUV's in the country, with only six residing in Iowa.

John Parks, CEO of Sioux Valley Community Credit Union said, “We are very proud of Ann’s accomplishment and her dedication to increasing her knowledge as a member of our credit union board of directors. This designation sets a standard for credit union volunteers and will help us maintain a healthy and growing credit union."
