Revival!
Letter from our Founder and President:

I believe that the Lord is preparing us for a harvest time right now. People’s hearts are being moved. Why else would come to a little town like Bedford, Virginia from five different states to come to a Revival under a tent to hear the Word of God preached and commit the resources to be there? I believe that God is doing something upon the earth right now. It is a powerful moment. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 says:

14 if then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land.

I believe that we are in a moment like that right now. We need to pray for revival in our cities. I believe we are in the midst of revival right now!

Hope and Purpose Ministries has recently held a revival in Bedford, Virginia. We have also been a part of the Diocese of Lansing's Made for Happiness event that drew over 13,000 people to the Breslin Center for great preaching, teaching, and fellowship. These types of gathering are not to say, "look at us;" rather they are opportunities to reaffirm our belief in Christ and to stir up the gifts within each of us to serve God and each other.

Revivals are part of our New Evangelization and Urban Evangelization initiatives at Hope and Purpose Ministries.

We have touched over 28,000 lives through our ministry this year, including approximately 400 priests who have been present at our events. Our new Radio Program has blessed countless listeners and we have ministered to thousands through our books, CDs, and DVDs that we make available online and at our events. Why Give?

Hope and Purpose Ministries can only continue to spread the hope and joy of the Holy Spirit with your generous support since we are not funded by the Catholic Church, specific dioceses or other non-profit organizations.

Deacon Oney has largely self-funded the ministry since 2014, but in order to take it to the next level, we need your financial help. Deacon Oney does accept speaking fees and we sell theologically-sound educational materials, but this income does not allow us to expand at a rate necessary to impact millions of individuals across the globe by 2020. We are going to expand the ministry by having a permanent location for volunteers and staff in New Orleans which will include an audio and video production studio to broadcast our messages of hope, joy, unity, and healing through the Holy Spirit to the priesthood and parishioners across the globe. Additionally, we would like to build more schools and opportunities for the youth in East Africa and beyond.
