Ecclesiastes: Does Life Hold Meaning?

"Everything is Meaningless" - These are the opening words of the book of Ecclesiastes in the ancient Hebrew scriptures. Is life meaningless? Do our lives hold a purpose? If so, what is it? Beginning January 20 we will explore this ancient wisdom text which has survived to speak profoundly to us today. This book in many ways is paradoxical and internally inconsistent. But isn't that true of our own lives and our world? Ultimately this book teaches us to embrace our earthly humility and to be fully present right here, right now, enjoying every moment as sheer gift. Join us as we wrestle together about the meaning of life and how God is somehow present to us in it all.

Prayer Requests

At BayMarin, prayer is a vital part of community life. We have three different teams of people who pray for the prayer requests that are submitted. Please share your prayer request with us  here.
Faith Community Opportunities

Our Faith Communities are our small groups - where church really happens as people live life together on a regular basis. We are looking for folks who would be willing to help lead and or host a Faith Community. If you are interested in learning more or joining a Faith Community, please contact Bryan.
